It’s Monday morning, so what better way to get motivated than with a little bit of fitspiration to start the week?
Keeping motivated during a fitness journey is key, and it can be a bit of a struggle to keep up that motivation. It’s so disheartening to work your butt off in the gym and not see any results for ages, but I always remember that it takes about 6-8 weeks for you to start seeing a difference, and slightly longer for everyone else to see a difference. It seems like the easy option to give up, but I find that I always want to give up just as my results are starting to show. Progress pictures are one of my favourite ways to document my journey and see my progress. No one else but you has to see them, but nothing beats that feeling of seeing the before and after next to each other and seeing how far you’ve come.
Another of my favourite motivation tools is Instagram. I follow so many fitness accounts to use as motivation and inspiration throughout my journey, and their photos help to keep me focused on my goals. I’ve learnt not to compare myself to the people on these accounts, or to others in general, because everyone is different! Focus on you, and be the best, fittest and healthiest that you can be. These are my top five Insta-pirations, you never know, they might motivate you too!
