Smooth-ie Operator

Deciding which smoothie maker, blender or juicer to go for can be tricky right? Wrong! Over the years, I’ve tried so many gadgets and gismos, all of which take up so much space in the kitchen. From smoothie makers to top of the range juicers, I’ve tried them all, and the worst thing about them is that they take so long to clean and reassemble. This little beauty has to be the easiest of the bunch and scores pretty high up on my recommend list.

As a student, I couldn’t really afford the top of the range NutriBullet, and so shopped around for something just as good that I could take back to University with me, and, vóila, the Breville Blend Active was taken off the shelves and into my house.

With only two components that require cleaning, one of which being the actual cup that you drink out of and the other being the rotating blade, there really is nothing more simple. This smoothie maker come blender can blend almost all fruits and vegetables into the yummiest of health drinks. My current favourites; all things green, with kale and spinach, cucumber, kiwi, a dash of coconut water, and and some ice cubes to give it that extra cool factor or very berry: blueberries and strawberries with a handful of spinach and some almond milk for those summer vibes. I’ll pop some recipes up soon but in the mean time, I dare you to get one. You won’t regret it.
