Treat Yourself

When sticking to a strict fitness regime, remembering to treat yourself every now and again can be tricky. Whether this is indulging in a cheat meal every now and again, or treating yourself to new clothes, be kind to yourself and give yourself a reward every now and again. Think of it as a pat on the back to yourself! I always feel guilty after a cheat meal, so my method of treating myself is by buying new clothes, usually from either Topshop or Nike. I love to add to my growing collection of gym clothes, and with ‘summer’ approaching, there are some great new colours to see in the season.

IMG_3354I always colour co-ordinate my gym clothes, which is why I have so many pairs of trainers, sports bras, and well everything! Having kept to a hardcore gym timetable and beginning to meet my baby abs, I knew it was time to treat myself to give me that motivation to keep going to my next goal. Shopping in Nike is dangerous for me as I always want to leave with the entire shop, but I managed to keep it down to just two items. These Bold Berry Modern Embossed Tempo shorts are perfect for summer, as whilst I love my Nike Pro tight black shorts, they aren’t as breathable in the summer as this style. With colour co-ordination in the back of my mind, I opted for the Pro Classic Logo sports bra in Violet Shock – one that I’ve had my eye on for a while. This outfit will go perfectly with white, black or purple trainers, all of which Nike sell in their various different styles. Summer ready, I can’t wait to hit the gym in my new gear.

Forget Think Pink, it’s all about Project Purple!
